Needed RPM packages for Red Hat Linux and compatible operating systems

In order to work with RHEL and CentOS, among other RPM distribution
systems, you can install various RPM packages to get the required software.
You can install Perl and a SQL in a base installation, then use CPAN to
install Bundle::Interchange, or you can install needed modules via RPM.
Many of those are not available in the base distribution, but
are available at EPEL or rpmforge, extended package distributions.
List of needed Modules to get interchange to build and start:
make (for installation)
gcc (for compling links or b
mysql and mysql-server (installs perl-DBI and perl-DBD-mysql)
or
postgresql and postgresql-server (installs perl-DBI and perl-DBD-Pg)
perl-MIME-Lite
perl-libwww-perl
perl-HTML-Parser
perl-Image-Size
perl-Safe-Hole
perl-Set-Crontab
perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker (RHEL/CentOS 6 only)
(Some of the above install multiple members of the Bundle::Interchange set.)
An incomplete list of additional modules needed for other things:
perl-Digest-SHA (for stronger passwords)
perl-Date-Calc (certain date support)
perl-Spreadsheet-ParseExcel (import XLS files)
perl-Spreadsheet-WriteExcel (export XLS files)
perl-Archive-Tar (backup function)
perl-Archive-Zip (backup function)
perl-Crypt-SSLeay (payment interfaces)
and/or
perl-Net-SSLeay (payment interfaces)
perl-Time-HiRes (benchmarks)
Optional modules typically unavailable in repositories:
